Every year, during the Ramadan month, the iftar menus of many restaurants are generally very similar to each other. Most brands -with few exceptions- serve their guests menus that are almost the same but customized to themselves. Özsüt was actually preparing an iftar menu with flavors adapted to its own style, but this year it came up with a completely different innovation.
Özsüt, in collaboration with award-winning chef Yunus Emre Akkor, created a special Ramadan menu for the first time. The flavors included in the iftar menu are as follows;
Milk and Almond Soup,
Spring Dip,
Strawberry Sherbet,
Muhammara, a refreshing dip made from fresh red pepper and a blend of spices that are perfect for hot summer days,
Cheese and buttery hot Water Borek
Ramadan Bread with Pastirma,
Special Zucchini Purslane Salad prepared with greens and cheese sauce,
Pottery Kebab & Yufka with Eggplant Pilaf
Creamy Güllaç (Also including Özsüt classics such as Pistachio Baklava and Walnut Baklava prepared with hand-rolled dough and butter and Raspberry Güllaç)
The price of the menu, each of which is an ode to our traditional cuisine, is 44 TL.
