Summer Still Continues in Alaçatı

Each season, different restaurants, bars, and beaches stand out in Alaçatı, formerly known as Agrilla. This summer, the most popular places are Momo and Dusk. But what else is among the favorites of this energetic area that combines design, gourmet food, art, and conversation by Hacı Memiş? Did you know that Beymen and Vakko are now also in Alaçatı? Where are the most popular places to eat this summer? Where are the meeting points and beaches? Where can you enjoy raki and fish and party until dawn? Why? Because summer is still going on in Alaçatı. We will be here until the closing on October 29th.

The summer of 2016 was a different summer for all of us… This unusual summer, where the business world never let go of their phones and woke up to a new agenda every day, provided us with a short opportunity to relax our minds with some sun and sea during the holiday breaks and weekends where we wanted to find some morale.

One of these enjoyable breaks was for some Alaçatı. However, this summer was different in Alaçatı. Ferdi Baba in the village was not the same as before, he updated himself, adapted to the trends, and added a pleasant music repertoire to his taste this year. Those who went to Ferdi Baba this summer couldn’t stop talking about the taste and music pleasure, in addition to its usual taste. Indeed, this is why Ferdi Baba is still circulating around Alaçatı’s places to go list by word of mouth. The songs of old Sezen Aksu, Nilüfer, and Kayan are still playing in the ears of those who have been there.

Momo, opened in honor of the book Ragazza di Strade, became the most popular place in Alaçatı. The restaurant, which tells the story of a street girl, impresses with its design and decoration, and increases your satisfaction with its taste and music.

This enjoyable place, opened by Ömer Şenay, a graduate of the Italian High School, with famous Italian chefs Lorenzo Pellechia and Pascuale Pressani, brought a sweet energy to Alaçatı.

Watching the Italian chefs wander among the tables to help with the menu at 19:00 leaves such a beautiful impression on the guests that it evokes a desire to go back again. The restaurant, which has a Sunset atmosphere like in Istanbul, is full every evening, and there is no chance to go without a reservation. The ambiance and atmosphere are so warm that those who sit at the table feel lucky.

Spaghetti Allo Scoglio is delicious… However, I especially recommend trying Mio’s special shots, which Emre Bey prepared and served to his acquaintances as an appetizer and are also on the menu.

Mio is a special shot made with tequila, gin, white wine, and lime. Its taste is so light that you can drink 3-4 of them. In fact, it’s so good that you might feel like memorizing the recipe and making it for guests at home J

At this place, tables are cleared after 23:00 and it turns into a bar. The fun continues until 02:00. Momo, which has become a meeting point in Istanbul, plays foreign pop and a small amount of Turkish music.

Şerefe, located in Alaçatı’s bazaar, has taken the first place among taverns this year. With its lively and vibrant atmosphere, its meze plates are impressive in taste and its music adds to the ambiance.

Don’t leave without stopping by İmren for gum ice cream to go with your coffee or tea.

Long queues still form in front of Dondurmino. İmren, the famous pastry shop in Alaçatı, is still at the top of my list for its cookies and profiteroles.

Reyhan, Izmir’s classic with its cheesecakes and pastries, is one of the most popular places for tea time in Alaçatı.

Dost Pide is always classic… The most delicious and satisfying breakfasts are made here with crispy pide bread. Even though there have been no changes in the ambiance, as İzmir locals, we appreciate it. The gum pudding is so special that it can be taken to those waiting in Istanbul, as there is no branch here and the owner has no intention of opening one despite receiving many tempting offers.

Söğüşçü is the most popular spot visited especially late at night after leaving other places… Brain, head, and wrap are among the most popular flavors on the menu at the Ilıca venue.

Traktör is one of the enjoyable places where people stop for drinks before or after dinner in Hacı Memiş. It’s a popular spot like Lucca, known among Istanbulites.

Zio, Fly Inn Bej, and Before Sunset were among the most successful places this summer for beaches and happy hours.

Paparazzi Ayayorgi has become a classic. They continue their live music performances every Sunday with Yol Project. I recommend keeping this fun guaranteed place on your list in Alaçatı.

Otto Beach, which was a club last year, now serves as a beach this year and continues as a club at night. You can spend an evening at this ideal place for electronic music lovers.

Kapari Bahçe is one of the unchanged, trend-following places. It’s pleasant, romantic, and delicious.

Eflatun is now established in place of Asma Yaprağı, which was a classic spot in Alaçatı but lost its energy. Eflatun continues to attract attention this summer.

Cingöz has changed its audience. The ideal place for candle lovers now disappoints former Cingöz regulars. Those who have gone are telling the new audience of the place from ear to ear.

Alarga was quite popular last year with its beauty pageant, but this year it is unfortunately quite empty and has lost its popularity.

Köyün Delisi Disco is fantastic for entertainment after 2 am. This is a disco from the 90s with disco balls, creating a buzz on social media with its colorful visuals. The party continues until 4 am.

Dusk Alaçatı Madeo Beach is incredible from 4 am until sunrise. It’s mostly popular among young people, and the age average is low. The DJ and partners of the place, Kerem Öngör, keep the music going until morning. Sunglasses pulled out of pockets when the day breaks are a surprise. It seems everyone is prepared. So when you go to Dusk, even if you are going for dinner, don’t forget to bring your sunglasses for the entertainment that lasts until morning.

Karina, which is open in winter, makes you feel good especially with its family atmosphere and fish appetizers. You can order special selections according to your desire, even if they are not on the menu, and feel special. With this approach, it continues to create addiction among its regulars.

So, where are we staying in Alaçatı this summer? Of course, Manastır and Alavya are still classic, but everyone is talking about Hay Hotel. Then let’s turn our direction to Alaçatı until the yellow summers in november.
